Every time I am on steroids, I discover how vain I really am. I feel crappy this morning because when I looked in the mirror, I saw how puffy my face is from being on the prednisone for two weeks. My face looks so fat and moony, I found myself wishing I could stay home from work with Oscar and not see anyone. My legs are puffy, too� but that�s less of a problem since I do wear pants.
It�ll pass. I know I have no choice, so I go to work in spite of my fragile ego�s bruising.
Speaking of bruising, long sleeved shirts still. My arms still look pretty gamey.

Since I found my ID, I was able to get my library card yesterday. Got a few CDs to listen to (which is great for someone like me who hates shelling out 20-25$ for an album I might not like- this is like a taste test) and a few novels. Amy Tan and John Irving, my favourites!
I�d better get going. I have 25 minutes to take Oscar out and then get my fat, puffy, bloated ass to work.
